AKS PMAN holds General meeting; set to reconcile aggrieved parties

The Akwa Ibom Chapter Of Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN) had their first general 2017 meeting in Uyo on Monday February 20th to discuss pressing issues bothering the union.

At the meeting , it was decided that a revalidation of PMAN membership across the state was imminent at zonal levels to ascertain the true numerical strength of the Union for strategic partnership with corporate organizations and government.

The musicians also decried the state of disunity in the union and called for an electoral commission to be set up for general elections to usher in a new administration .

Among those at the general meeting were the state caretaker Chairman Cmr Enefiok George , Founder AKS PMAN, Chief Emmanuel Ntia, Sir Wilker Jackson, comrade Inem Matthew, Prince Andy Johnson, all PMAN zonal executives and host of others.

It is expected that a stakeholders meeting will hold shortly to call aggrieved parties to a truce.
