Prince Offiong gets nod from Okobo Students

Students of Tertiary Institution who hail from Okobo Local Government area have given Okobo Local Government Chairmanship aspirant, Prince Umoh Offiong commendation over his Student friendly disposition.
The commendation was given by the National Association of Okobo Students (NAOS) UNIUYO Chapter,  through their President , Comrade  Victor Abang on Friday on the occasion of the inauguration of new Executives of the body and induction of new members.
In his address,  Comrade Abang, thanked the Chairmanship Aspirant for always standing by the Students which he said his Student friendly disposition must have informed his decision to donate greatly to the Association. He maintained that it is only those who are interested in a better future will want to associate themselves with activities of students. While assuring Stakeholders of the area of his commitment to lead the association to a greater height, he called on Prince Offiong among other Okobo stakeholders to continue in supporting Okobo Students.
Earlier in his address, the Chairman on the occasion, Prince Umoh Offiong

promised to continue working with the Executives of the Association to reposition NAOS for effective and result oriented leadership. He restated his commitment when elected Executive Chairman of Okobo Local Government Area to continue providing financial assistance to Okobo students especially the less privileged and students undertaking project courses.
While charging the students to shun cultism and other social vices, the Okobo Chairmanship aspirant noted that indulgence in social vices will not only ruin ones future, but can jeopardize ones chances of realizing his God given destiny.
He added “ I will crave your indulgence to continue to respect your elders, support the government of the day led by our amiable governor; Deacon Udom Emmanuel considering the fact that an Okobo indigene is the Deputy Speaker In the person of Mrs. Felicia Bassey. Indeed, I will strive to collaborate with other stakeholders in Okobo LGA to work with this student body to ensure that the welfare of Okobo Students remain paramount.”
