E’ekpede Initiative announces 3-Day tour across Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District
The E’ekpede Initiative has unveiled a 3-day local government visitation tour aimed at engaging stakeholders and communities across Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, beginning Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
According to the schedule released by the leadership of the Initiative, the tour will cut across three Federal Constituencies and eight Local Government Areas, with town hall-style engagements scheduled in each LGA.
*Day 1: Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency – Wednesday, August 12, 2026*
The tour kicks off with visits to Ini LGA at 12:00 noon, followed by Ikono LGA at 2:00 PM.
*Day 2: Abak/Etim Ekpo/Ika Federal Constituency – Thursday, August 13, 2026*
The team will visit Abak LGA at 10:00 AM, Etim Ekpo LGA at 12:00 noon, and Ika LGA at 2:00 PM.
*Day 3: Ikot Ekpene/Essien Udim/Obot Akara Federal Constituency – Friday, August 14, 2026*
The final day will cover Obot Akara LGA at 10:00 AM, Essien Udim LGA at 12:00 noon, and Ikot Ekpene LGA at 2:00 PM.
The E’ekpede Initiative leadership says the visitation is part of efforts to deepen grassroots engagement, gather feedback, and strengthen party structures ahead of the forthcoming general election in 2027.
Stakeholders, party faithful, and community leaders in the affected LGAs have been urged to turn out en masse for the engagements.
