Forbidden Stories: Ekemini Simon Forges International Collaboration, Joins Safebox Network

Ekemini Simon, an investigative Journalist with TheMail newspaper has joined the Safebox Network, a collective, global and journalistic response to defeat impunity against journalists.
The Safebox Network created by Forbidden Stories based in France has the mission to secure information of investigative journalists, to protect, pursue and publish the work of journalists facing threats, prison, or murder and to also ” deter crimes against journalists by sending a strong message to the enemies of the press: killing the Journalists won’t kill the story”.
In late January, Ekemini Simon was invited by the Network for training outside Nigeria on how to use the Safebox.
Ekemini Simon, who had completed the training has commenced sharing information about his works with the Network and now has his profile published in the Safebox Directory among other select investigative journalists globally.
