Akwa Ibom gets new Commissioner of Police

CP Miller Gajere Dantawaye has been appointed as the new substantive Commissioner of Police for the Akwa Ibom State Command.

A press release by Ikechukwu Ani, Head, Press and Public Relations of the Police Service Commission indicates that 3 other police commissioners have been appointed.

They are Isah Danladi Nda for Abia State Command; Olarewaju Ishola Olawale is the new CP for Lagos State Command while CP Anthonia Adaku Uche Anya fdc will lead the Ebonyi state Command

CP Waheed Ayilara who was posted to Akwa Ibom in January 2024 lost his life last month during a surgical operation in Lagos.

TheMail reports that CP Dantawaye is the 33rd Commissioner of Police in the Akwa Ibom. state command.
