Iboku Uruan Cultural Festival Floats 2nd Edition

The Akpe Iboku/Etongko Mkpe Heirtage Foundation presents the second Edition of the Iboku Uruan Cultural Festival. The Iboku Uruan Cultural Festival is aimed at creating awareness, promoting and preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Uruan Inyang Atakpo People
In a release jointly signed by the Chairman Planning Committee, Otuekong (Engr) Peter Umana, Secretary, Ifiok Akpabio and Co-Chairman Planning Committee, Obong (Bar) Otu Medo, and made available to our newsroom has it that the Festival has as its core vision to be one of the Country’s iconic tourist destinations.

They further noted that a people without knowledge of their past history, origin and culture could be likened to a tree without roots hence the essence of the Festival.
They used this medium to invite distinguished Sons and Daughters of Uruan, Akwa Ibom and NIgeria as a whole to the event which will hold on Wednesday 28th December 2022, at the Primary School, Mbiaya Uruan, Uruan Local Government Area by 10.00am. Come and witness rare and exquisite display of Uruan’s Culture and Heritage.
