Vincent Enyeama retires, appointed goalkeeper trainer by French club

Former Nigerian international goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has retired from playing professional football.
He heads straight into coaching as French side, L’Iris Club de Croix has announced him as its goalkeeper trainer.
Enyeama will be in charge of all the goalkeepers from the club’s Reserve Team down to its Under-16 side.
Iris suffered relegation to Championnat National 3, when the 2019/20 season was ended early due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
They play their home games at the 2,000 seater Stade Henri Seigneur, Croix.
For a period, he was the best in Ligue 1 and arguably the most underrated shot-stopper in the game.
The 36-year old holds the record of being the most capped Super Eagles goalkeeper with 101 caps.
He retired from international football after falling out with then Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh.
