Governor Udom Emmanuel will on Tuesday meet with the PDP caucus of the House of Representatives.
TheMail Newspaper understands that Mr Emmanuel will consult the Reps Minority caucus in furtherance of his bid to get the Party’s presidential ticket.
Udom who left Uyo enroute Abuja few minutes before 2pm will meet with the lawmakers at the House of the minority leader, Ndudi Elumelu, in Abuja.
Mr. Emmanuel received the PDP presidential nomination forms purchased for him by Human Rights Radio (Brekete Family) last week.
During the presentation of the forms to Emmanuel at Government House, Uyo, the governor said having governed Akwa Ibom for two terms, he has all what it takes to manage Nigeria as president.
“There is no governor in Nigeria today who has done 8 years and cannot manage Nigeria. It is not possible.
“Money is a principal thing. Nigeria today needs somebody who understands money.
“I thank Nigerians who contributed N1,000, N1,500, N2,000 to buy me PDP presidential nomination form.
“Be rest assured that I have accepted the form. All Nigerians can’t come together to give me something and I say no. I will learn how to fill the form because I have not filled it before”, Emmanuel said.
