Dr Cyril Omoregbe has replaced Barr. Mike Igini as INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Akwa Ibom.
The redeployment of Omoregbe to Akwa Ibom is contained in a Press Release issued by the Spokesperson of INEC, Festus Okoye.
Until his redeployment, Omoregbe was the INEC REC in Cross River State.
Recall that Igini retired from the commission last week.
A brief profile of the new Akwa Ibom REC as obtained by TheMail Newspaper indicates that Omorogbe who is a PHD holder comes with a pedigree of scholarship spanning about three decades.
Educated in the United States, Omorogbe is a management and information technology security expert.
